Spring Poetry Writing Workshop

Beginner through advanced writers are welcome to join the library's 6-week Spring Poetry Writing Workshop.

Come and meet other writers and exchange ideas in a supportive, creative environment. Students will receive individualized attention, including feedback on their writing from workshop participants and the instructor. The workshop will offer writing exercises to stretch the student's approach to style and content and learn about published writers who might be inspirational or provide models for future work.

The workshop is led by Professor Kara Provost who teaches English and writing at Curry College. She has two books of published poetry (Nests and Topless) and is a writer of essays and memoir.

The workshop is free and is limited to 15 adult participants.

Sponsored by Friends of Barrington Public Library.
