Reading Across RI Book Discussion

This year's Reading Across Rhode Island selection is Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. The library will have a book discussion on Monday, March 13 at 7 pm. It will be led by librarians Ben Hanley and Jane Granatino. Please register at the Reference Desk or call 247-1920 x2.

For those who join the book discussion group, we have extra copies available to borrow at the Reference Desk. These copies must be returned to the Reference Desk after the program. The book is also available from the library catalog here.

From the publisher: The founder of the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama recounts his experiences as a lawyer working to assist those desperately in need, reflecting on his pursuit of the ideal of compassion in American justice.

Please visit Rhode Island Center for the Book's website for more information about Reading Across Rhode Island and other events and programs, including the author event, An Afternoon with Bryan Stevenson, on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at McVinney Auditorium in Providence, RI.
