2017 Summer Reading Club Build A Better World

May is upon us and the end of the school year is fast approaching.  It's hard to believe but the Summer Reading Club will be here before you know it.  This year's theme: "Build A Better World" promises active, fun participation while reading for pleasure.

The performers this summer include musicians, artists, live animals, a chef and a seamstress.  Earn prizes and free admission to exciting places all while talking about your favorite books.  The Summer Reading Program is sponsored by the Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services (OLIS) and is a cooperative effort among libraries in Rhode Island to motivate children and teens to read for pleasure as they maintain their reading skills during the summer months.
