Federal Student Aid

The library has provided the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form for several years, but the Federal Department of Education has now suspended distribution of these forms to schools and libraries due to a decrease in the submission of these forms by students as it appears this is now being done on line for the most part.

Students will be able to request up to three paper copies by calling the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-433-3243 and should receive them in 3 to 7 business days.

New for the 2008-2009 program is a PDF version of the form that can be downloaded from www.FederalStudentAid.ed.gov or www.FSAPubs.org. Students can complete the form online or by hand and mailing it to the provided address for processing.

Questions can be emailed to FAFSA.Comments@ed.gov
