The library has received information packets from the Internal Revenue Service which explain how to apply for the Economic Stimulus Payment in very easy-to-understand language along with filled-out samples as well as two copies of form 1040A which is to be filed in order to qualify for this benefit.
In addition is the fact that people actually have until October 15, 2008 to file a tax return for 2007 to do this.The library also has a good supply of form 1040A and will keep them on hand indefinitely.
