Reading in the Kitchen: A Cookbook Club

A book club for those who like to read cookbooks and enjoy a community meal.

The group meets monthly on the third Monday night of the month from 6:30 to 8 pm. Participants are asked to bring a dish to share from that month’s cookbook and their own table setting.

Registration is required. Space is limited. To register, contact Community Engagement Librarian Jessica D’Avanza at jessicad@barringtonlibrary.org or call 401.247.1920 x7.

Mock Caldecott Family Book Club

Join librarians Katie O'Kane from Primrose Hill School and Lisa Lesinski from the Children's Room for the last of our Family Book Club meetings! We will explore some beautifully illustrated books that are considered contenders for the 2020 Caldecott Medal. After four meetings, our group will vote for the one we feel should win. Let's see if we agree with the real Caldecott Committee!
