A Charles Dickens Story Walk at Library Cove

Runs until December 31st. Walk through our Dickens Story Walk featuring text from A Christmas Carol and images from the 1971 Academy Award-winning animated short film by Richard Williams. Join us as we commemorate Charles Dickens on the 150th year of his passing. Library Cove is located directly behind the library by the river's edge. Follow the signs! Stop by at your leisure and please be mindful to stay 6 feet apart from others if the need arises. And be sure to leave a tally mark to let us know you've walked through!

"The Wild Robot" Chat & Craft (Outside!)

Join us (outside) for a Book Chat & Craft during school vacation week. We'll discuss "The Wild Robot" and then craft our own robot hand! Books will be available for check-out at the Circulation Desk beginning April 1. You can also download the digital version from eZone. Please register to reserve your spot. Recommended for kids in grades 4 through 6; limited to 12 participants. In order to ensure the safety of all, masks are required on the library grounds at all times.

Outdoor Family Scavenger Hunt

Stroll the library grounds with Barrington Land Conservation Trust educators and discover natural treasures in your own town. Participants will explore the terrain near the duck pond and Barrington River. Registration is required as space is limited; all ages are welcome. Please forfeit your reservation and stay home if you or anyone in your party is not feeling well. The rain date for this program is Tuesday, October 27 at 4 pm.

Co-sponsored by the Barrington Land Conservation Trust.
