Virtual Film Class with Andrew Gerstenblatt

Visual Effects and Editing with local teen filmmaker, Andrew Gerstenblatt. Learn Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, two industry-standard programs used for film making, video editing, visual effects, and music videos help filmmakers do their jobs, as well as other related programs, such as iMovie, Final Cut Pro, and AVID. We'll discuss some basics: cutting, transitions, dialogue and sound editing, rendering, media organizing etc. We'll also get to some of the "fun stuff:" laser beams, light sabers, explosions, lens flares, LUTs, title design, and magic powers.

Pop-up Robotics

Are you interested in Robotics? Barrington High School Robotics Club will be in the teen room offering a workshop for aspiring engineers. Learn the basics. Check out their robot made for the FTC challenge. Snacks will be provided (while supplies last!)

This annual sale is a major fundraiser for the Friends. Members of the Friends receive early access to the Fall sale before it opens to the public.
