Reading in the Kitchen: a Cookbook Club

A book club for those who like to read cookbooks and enjoy a community meal.

The group meets monthly on the third Monday night of the month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Participants are asked to bring a dish to share from that month’s cookbook and their own table setting. 

Registration is required. This group cannot accommodate drop-ins.

This month's cookbook theme is Jewish Cooking with Joan Nathan. Cookbooks with the titles: 

  •  Joan Nathan's Jewish Holiday Cookbook (2004)
  • Quiches, Kugels, and Couscous: My Search for Jewish Cooking in France (2010) *named one of the 10 best cookbooks in 2010 by NPR, Food & Wine, and Bon Appetit magazines.
  • King Solomon's Table: A Culinary Exploration of Jewish Cooking from Around the World (2017)
