The Shanteyman presents a highly participatory program of music, poetry and stories of the sea geared toward elementary school-aged children. Kids will make music on pots and pans and use a light block-and-tackle in a fun tug-of-war to experience the mechanical advantage of simple machines. Free entry tickets will be available for pick-up in the Children's Dept. on Wednesday, August 1. They will be handed out on a first-come-first serve basis.
