Every day, the RI Blood Center counts on the community to help provide over 200 units of life-saving blood & blood products to Rhode Islanders and our neighbors. Give someone else a second chance at life. One donation can save as much as three lives!
To donate:
- You MUST be at least 16 year olds weighing 130 lbs or more and need a signed parental permission slip to participate OR 17 year olds and older weighing 110 lbs or more.
- All must be in general good health.
- Most medications do not prohibit you from donating
- In preparation to donate it is very important to eat a good meal and keep well hydrated!
