Literary Pairings Book Discussion Group generally meets the second Wednesday of the month from 6:30 to 8 pm from September through June (7 pm starting in January) in person, unless otherwise noted. Some meetings may be on Zoom, depending on weather. Participants will read an assigned classic one month followed by a contemporary readalike similar in theme, plot and/or characters the following month. Facilitators Nancy Christy and librarian Ben Hanley will lead the discussions and prepare questions. Participants are encouraged to bring their own questions as well.
The current pairing for September/October is Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë and The Dutch House by Ann Patchett.
Please contact Ben Hanley at firstname.lastname@example.org or 401-247-1920 x2 to be placed on the waiting list.
