Commemorating the 700th anniversary of the death of the mediaeval poet and philosopher Dante Alighieri, known as the Father of the Italian language. Join us for a months long celebration. Walk the StoryWalk at your leisure located behind the Library around the Gazebo. A fitting setting for a brief adaption of the nine circles of Hell in Volume 1 of Dante's Epic Poem, The Divine Comedy (be sure to leave a tally mark to let us know you've gone through!) Make some art on select Thursdays (see calendar for info) and listen to live music being performed inside the Gazebo by local high school musicians (more to come on that) Also, a surpise theatrical performance is in the works! Stay tuned...Oh! There will also be a special weekly drawing. Details to come.
