Adult Summer Reading runs through August 23. Sign-up online here. Read a book, complete a review, and enter to win a raffle prize. Grand Prize is a telescope! Earn more chances to win by filling out a row, column, or diagonal on our Summer Reading Bingo sheet. Enjoy Sci-Fi Matinees and documentary films (Wednesdays at 1 pm, July 10-31), as well as an author reception and a historical talk Books for Idle Hours & the Rise of Summer Reading with Author Donna Harrington-Lueker (Tuesday, August 20 at 6 pm). Teen Summer Reading runs through August 22. Sign-up online here. Here's how it works! Once the form is filled out, stop by the library to get your raffle ticket for a chance to win one of five awesome prizes. Want more tickets? Read a book! Then stop by again and talk to Tanya at 401-247-1920 x6 or one of the Children's librarians. And, fInally, come to a program! For each book read and each program attended receive one ticket towards the raffle. PLEASE register for a progam if it is called for. Raffle will be held on August 22 at 7 pm. It's a penny social this year so you can choose the prize you like the most for maximum chance of winning! One prize winner per person.
Kids Summer Reading runs through August 8. Sign-up online here or call 401-247-1920 x4. Participate in our newly designed Summer Passport Adventure. Reading is vitally important to brain development but there are a multitude of ways to learn and explore throughout the summer. Tell us about your reading, vacations, D-I-Y projects, musuem trips and more! Each visit and conversation with us earns you a ticket into our Summer Raffle. Your stamped passport gains you entrance into our Raffle Drawing Party in August. Don't forget to check-out the Family Events, Story Times from Space, Family Yoga Series and our brand new Story Walk too.
