Barrington Public Library is happy to welcome Michele Hoben to the Main Floor Gallery and Kyla Schmigle to the Jennifer English Gallery!

Main Floor Gallery

Artist: Michele Hoben

Hoben's exhibit is a study of design, history, and art. It invites the community to explore the artists' expression in this prolific collection that bridges the past with the present. Hoben has deeply engaged with historical design, color, form, and composition that celebrates her artful eye not only for painting but it emotes memorable feelings spent with family in friends. In Hoben's words, "Each chair became more than a mere object: they transformed into a vibrant character in their own right."
