BPL Kids

Hello from the McCulloch Children's Room

"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."
L.M. Montgomery  - Anne of Green Gables

October's brilliant shades of orange, gold, red and yellow bring much comfort as the days grow increasingly shorter. Autumn is a time of transition. Beach days become family hikes. Cookouts are casseroles. We trade our flip-flops for flannels. But there's still much to enjoy with our special month-long Story Walk at Sowams Woods, a protected Barrington Land Conservation Trust property; enter the Barrington Lion's Club Imagine Peace Poster contest, attend our AAA Halloween Safety program, and closing out the month is our Halloween Celebration: "I've Got A Rock." Enjoy these golden days and see you soon!
