Barrington Public Library is happy to welcome Cindy Manchester to the Main Floor Gallery and Joe Sturm to the Jennifer English Gallery.

Artist: Cindy Manchester
Cindy Manchester is an intuitive painter and painterly collage artist. She approaches each canvas as a blank slate and then spontaneously and intuitively applies layers of media and color.
She loves abstract painting for its ability to be transformative, tell a story, and open up new worlds.
Jennifer English Gallery (second floor)
Artist: Joe Sturm
Joe Sturm is a lifelong Barrington resident and began drawing at a very young age. The Barrington Public Library played a part in building his passion as he spent hours in the library drawing dogs and people from books. Joe actually exhibited in the library back in the 1970s and is excited to be back.
After taking a hiatus from art to get married, raise a family, and coach ice hockey, Joe retired two years ago and picked up right where he left off. His exhibit is called "My Journey"
