Join us for the annual Fall Book Sale hosted by the Friends of the Barrington Public Library! This much-anticipated event offers a fantastic selection of books across all genres, from bestsellers and classics to children’s books and cookbooks. Most items are available for $1-2 each. There is also a selection of rare and valuable books for sale. Whether you’re a passionate reader or looking for the perfect gift, there’s something for everyone.
All proceeds from the sale directly support the Barrington Public Library, helping to fund programs, services, and resources that benefit our community. The Fall Book Sale will be held Thursday, November 13 through Sunday, November 16 on the second floor of the library.
Hours for the Fall Book Sale are:

Please note: Thursday from 5-8 pm is a special Friends Members preview for members of The Friends of the Barrington Library. You can join at the door to get an early look at the book sale. Friday through Sunday is free admission to the general public.
New this year: $5 Fill-a-Bag Day!
On Monday, November 17 from 10 am - 12 pm, we provide the bag, you fill it to the brim with books, and pay only $5 — no matter how much you can fit! It’s the perfect chance to stock up on cozy fall reads, holiday gifts, or books for every reader in your home.
Please note: bags will be provided by the Friends so no need to bring your own!
