Create Your Own Artwork: Depicting a Healthy & Resilient Environment

Students in grades three to eight are invited to create their own artwork, depicting a healthy and resilient environment. Create zentangle artwork, wetland collages and stained glass planet Earth.

Free and open to students in grades three to eight. Space is limited. Register in the Children's Room or call 401-247-1920 x4.

The Boxcar Children: Surprise Island Matinee

The Boxcar Children: Surprise Island is the family-friendly animated sequel to The Boxcar Children, based on the beloved classic books by Gertrude Chandler Warner. The Alden children have a home with their grandfather now—but their adventures are just beginning! The first surprise comes when they learn they’ll be spending the summer on their private island. A kind stranger who lives there is always happy to help the children out, but does this new friend have a secret?  Limited to 105 persons. Drop-in, free.

Don't get lost in downloadables, tablets and video games. Make room and memories with your kids by sharing time playing good old fashioned board games together. Every Monday we'll have an array of activities to explore in a fun, safe environment. Drop-in, free.

A Taste of China

Learn about the Chinese culture in this fun-filled, enriching program with awesome arts and crafts, interactive stories, games, and more! Make your own animal puppet based off the Twelve Chinese Zodiacs, get crazy with all sorts of Giant Panda activities, and make & customize your unique stamps! Recommended for grades 1-5. All communities are welcome, program is free.
