Calling all Hampden Meadows students! Please join School Librarian Mrs. Roy and Children's Librarian Miss Lisa as we collaborate in our first ever Family Book Club. Each month we'll delve into one of the 2019 Rhode Island Children's Book Award Nominations (RICBA).
Meet the author Jeanine Silversmith of the Rhode Island Family Hiking Guide & Journal for a family book talk and signing. Each of the 42 featured family-friendly hikes include essential and helpful information, a detailed map, and driving directions, as well as journal pages for your family to use to reflect upon and document your experiences.
Students in grades three to eight are invited to create their own artwork, depicting a healthy and resilient environment. Create zentangle artwork, wetland collages and stained glass planet Earth.

Get mixed-up and messy with your kids through coloring, painting and creative activities. Simple craft stations will be set-up for you to enjoy at your convenience between the hours of 1 to 4 pm every Thursday afternoon. Drop-in, free.
