BPL Kids

Greetings from the McCulloch Children's Room!

Can you imagine life without Dr. Seuss in it? I sure can't! Lucky for us we don't have to as I'm certain your children will be reading "Hop on Pop" or "Go Dog Go" to their own families one day!  As Spring draws closer, remember there's still plenty to do in the Kids Room. Drop-in Story Times and Family Activities begin on Monday, March 4. For school-aged kids, there are three After School Clubs! Participants will plant seeds, touch artifacts or share time with Quincy the Therapy Dog. And families can listen to songs in the Victrola program or travel through cyber space with Ralph as he "Breaks the Internet." Winter is almost behind us (fingers crossed)! See you soon.

  • Arrive a few minutes early to allow time to use the restroom and settle in before story time begins.
  • Snack foods, drinks, and personal toys are best enjoyed after you leave the library.
  • Please remain in the Children’s Room in case of an emergency, especially if your child is unattended (ages 3 to 5) at story time.

We reserve the right to discuss alternative options with you if your child is having challenges adapting to a story time setting.
