Join librarian Doug Swiszcz for another of his lecture series on classic movies, this one a salute to actor Sidney Poitier.

Based on Lorraine Hansberry's award-winning play, this story looks at the members of a poor black family living on Chicago's South Side, and how they differ on the best way to spend a $10,000 bequest.

Come enjoy the film in our newly renovated Salem Family Auditorium, with comfortable new seats and improved acoustics.
