About that Barrington Public Library Aquatic Reading Center…
As much as we were looking forward to welcoming you on July 1, we have a small confession to make:
It was all an April Fools’ prank.
There’s no rooftop pool, no waterproof books, and—sadly—no lifeguard positions to apply for. Inflatable flamingos will not be joining the Library of Things, and our study rooms will remain blissfully coconut-free.
That said, we do still believe the library is the perfect place for a great day—and you won’t even need sunscreen to enjoy it.
