The First Monday Morning of the Month Book Group was established several years ago as a comfortable setting in which to share our
mutual love of books. Each month members talk about what they've been reading, recreational or educational, over a cup of coffee and pastry. New members always welcome!
Join us as we discuss the book Crossing the Bamboo Bridge: Memoirs of a Bad Luck Girl by Barrington author Mai Donohue.
A limited number of copies will be available at the library's Circulation Desk. Copies are also available at Barrington Books and through Amazon.

This year's Reading Across Rhode Island selection is Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. The library will have a book discussion on Monday, March 13 at 7 pm. It will be led by librarians Ben Hanley and Jane Granatino. Please register at the Reference Desk or call 247-1920 x2.

Classics, or those of an historical nature, are "paired" the following month with a contemporary or lesser-known work related by theme, setting and/or characters. Literary Pairings generally meet the second Wednesday of the month from 7-8:30pm, except when it falls on a holiday, and meetings are facilitated by librarians Jane Granatino and Nancy Christy. This group meets September - June.
