In Living Room Conversations, a small group of people come together to get to know one another in a more meaningful way. Guided by a simple and sociable format, participants practice being open and curious about all perspectives, with a focus on learning from one another, rather than trying to debate the topic at hand.

This popular primetime cartoon show features the Jetson family living in a utopian future. People live in housing in the sky, work a three-day workweek, drive aerocars that look like flying saucers and have incredible conveniences that leave them with plenty of leisure time.

Barrington Community Theatre will present a peformance of Shakespeare's Macbeth.
The loyal and brave Macbeth is confused when three strange beings confront him after a battle and predict that he shall grow in power to the point of becoming King. Macbeth begins to lose himself (and then everything else) as he gives in to ambition and paranoia and the bodies begin to pile up. Ultimately he learns (too late) that prophecies can be misleading.
This show is dark and not advised for young children.

Barrington Community Theatre will perform Dr. Seuss' The Lorax.
Based on the book by Dr Seuss, the Lorax tells of the dangers of destroying our forests and disposable consumerism. The children hear, from the Once-ler of how he made his fortune at the expense of the environment, and of a strange being called the Lorax who tried, in vain, to warn him. This story teaches children of the importance of environmental conservation and encourages them to take an active part in helping to make a positive impact toward restoring our world.
Calling all kids in grades 4 - 6 who love graphic novels! Join YA & Children’s Librarians’ Tanya and Miss Lisa (and the rest of Rhode Island) in reading “Sanity & Tallulah,” this year’s Kids Reading Across Rhode Island selection. Share your “Sanity & Tallulah” insight (and snacks) with us on Tuesday, April 30 from 6 – 7pm. The first eight kids to sign-up will receive a copy of the book.
