A Pop-up OUTDOOR Movie: BEETLEJUICE

Join us for our first oudoor film! Beetlejuice (Rated PG, 1988 1 hr. 26 min.). With an introduction by our own film buff librarian Doug Swiszcz. PLEASE register to save a spot. Chairs will be provided. You MUST wear your mask until you are seated six feet away from others unless they are in your party. We wil provide pre-packaged bags of popcorn and candy. Please bring your own drinks.  If you register but are unable to attend please let us know for our waiting list.  COSTUMES ENCOURAGED! Rain date: 10/8

Virtual: The Halloween Tree Book & Craft Night

"Night and day. Summer and winter. Seedtime and harvest. Life and death. That's what Halloween is, all rolled up into one" (Bradbury). A book that holds a brief history of Halloween by masterful storyteller Ray Bradbury. Please register and join us to make your own Halloween Tree. You can pick up the book and supplies (while they last!) at the circulation desk. We will read the book prior to the meeting (no worries if you can't finish it!)  where we will make our tree and talk about what Halloween means to us and more!  

Cereal Box Art with NY Artist/Author Michael Albert

Join us for an interactive virtual art experience using cereal boxes, scissors and glue. Albert, author of “An Artist’s America” (Henry Holt, 2008) is nationally known for making art from cereal boxes & other printed cardboard consumer brand packages. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link. All ages are welcome to participate. Made possible by the Friends of Barrington Public Library.
